Found out the problem. I grinded a hole (more like a slit) in my transmission right next the where the shift linkage plugs into it. It’s about an inch long by like 5mm wide. So I need a new tranny. Thanx for the help though. So if anyone has a Y1(?) tranny let me know I live in 626 in southern CA. I need it asap.

You just need a new case. You dont need the whole tranny. If someone has just the half of the case that you have a hole in then you could just get that and put the other half of the case and all the gears and shiz into it. That might save you a lot of money.

My car doesn’t move either. I put it in gear and tried to go and it moved about an inch then it felt like the wheels were locked from moving forward and it bounced back and as it was rolling back it locked rolling backwards too. Whatever made that hole came from inside the tranny, so there’s internals that must be messed up inside too. I don’t know how or why that happend, I was guessing maybe since I heard there’s no fluid I could’ve been wrong cause I never bothered changing any grease or oil for it. Or since it was grinding in third I just kept running it like that until recently it stopped grinding and now there’s a hole.
ahhh, well in that case you definately need a whole new tranny… It is upgrade time

I think a new Y1 tranny w/ LSD a new clutch and a lightened flywheel sounds like a good upgrade. Not with $500 though :argh:
a buddy of mine is selling his Y1 tranny for $500. let me know if you’re interested. i’m still debating whether to buy it or not. 
I’ll take you up on the offer if none of the others go through if that’s ok. Cause right now my best price is $400. I’m trying to get a hold of Hondamotorsonline.com but they’re website is down or something but I want to see if they can beat that price. Good looking out though. Thanx
