Who has a HKS Hiper with a 92- 93 rear bumper?

Kool thanks guys!

Im gonna go try to slap that bad boy on there and see what happens, Ill just reuse the springy bolts that are on there now, and IF that doesnt werk then Ill resort to bending…:uhoh:

well i for one am curious how it all worked out for you nafreak, so let us know, aight?

bend the hangers…

Just bend the last two hangers with a long pry bar and I guarantee you won’t rub afterwards. I’ve installed a few 5 Zigen Fireballs and Apex N1’s on civics/integras and some of the mufflers get really close to the bumper…I usually just bend the hangers slightly to clear it.

I work a lot the next few days, so when I do, I will.

UPDATE

So I got up under that biznatch today and compared the extension to what was there and I really dont see it going up in there.:frowning:

The amount of length that it would add wont be accomdated by the hangars nor will it be able to add the twist. (The 2 ends of the extension are offset)

I have a ghetto test pipe that I ordered from test pipedotcom and I think I can use the brackets on each end of it for spacers if I can cut this thick a$$ piping…

i’m having the same exact problem… they must have sent the 90-91 version instead of the 92-93 :frowning: ****ers…

narundomestics: How long have you had yours on? and have you tried to fix it yet?

actually mine sat in my garage for about a month, then i finally put it on last friday, the night before i left for college, so i haven’t had a chance to try and fix it yet :frowning: plus the 4.5 hr drive up here probably put the melting of the bumper process into overdrive :frowning: :frowning:

let me know if you have any ideas, i’ll do the same
