why does my vtec bogg around 5k rpm but then catches on at 6k rpm??

is it because of the skunk stage 2 cams or is the vtec wiring wrong?? thanks in advance

Your VTEC x-over is too low. If you have a V-AFC, try raising your x-over to about 5700rpm. Best of luck.
