Well i am ordering my b16 next week and i am looking into doing just bolt ons, ignition, maybe some head work and down the road some zex nitrous… I was wondering what cat converter do i order? one for a teg ls or one for a b16 cause the b16 header i hear is to short? Im getting a itr 4-1 header, Also i want to make my exhaust pipe bigger so what would be a good size for my mods? 2.5in? lmk whats up! thanks
order the cat for the car, not the motor…motor has nothing to do with it. there is a carsound cat group buy going on right now, you should check it out, looks like a good deal.
the jdm itr header will work fine with an oem length cat and exhaust (just order cat and exhaust for 92-93 teg). However you’ll need a muffler shop to modify a flange for you so the header will bolt up to the cat properly. Its an easy mod though.
