will a civic eg or ek model steering wheel fit ?

guys,

i need help or pic if the 1992 eg civic or 1997 ek steering wheel fit our car?

Basically, the EK steering wheel is the srs(airbag) model and the EG model is non airbag…but i think not long ago i did saw an EG non srs model fitted a EK srs steering wheel though…

advice needed…

thanks…

most likely. Cruise/Horn harness may be different though

hi Elborintegra,

how are you?
the last time i said i been offered a momo type r srs wheel and u said it won’t fit… and now u say that the EK civic one’s with srs airbag will…can i know what’s the different?

I ignored the other description

if it’s airbag… it won’t fit.

it wont fit because of the airbag inside or is it because the steering ust won’t get in or isthe bolt cannot go in cos the steering is bulky?

what if we take the airbag out?

as I explained in the other thread, the airbag is embedded into the “center cap” if you will. If you take the airbag out, you’re taking that whole center section of the wheel.
I’m sure you’ll be able to put the wheel into the rack, it will just be “out of place”

i have found the tread that someone put an itr typr r wheel in their g2…i know that typr r all came with airbags wheel…so anymore suggestion?

No, all jdm ITR steering wheels did NOT come with SRS airbags… only some did.

There is a non-srs version. It’s all in your last thread that, since you made this one, you probably haven’t read.

how.
the.
hell.

Please tell me that’s non-SRS.

Could JDM columns be different?

It’s a non srs EG steering wheel. You just need to cut about 4mm off the back of the steering wheel so it doesnt sit too close to you.

AUDM but should be same as JDM and USDM.
