Just wondering if a DC exhaust would fit a DA. I Know that the stock one comes out the drivers side, but I am running another bumper and had plans to run it straight back on the passenger side. I have searched on here and H-T, but only found a few post from over 4 years ago, that werent really useful. is it just the hangers that have to be welded on the drivers side? or is there a piping issue too? just trying to weigh my options. thanks in advance.
I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. Theoretically it should with the addition of hangers on the driver side.
i’m not sure about the location of the bends on a DC exhaust, versus one made for a DA. or how close the hangers would line up. i’d imagine that a little modification would make it fit. might have to trim a little off of the lenght of the pipe “here and there” but with a little finesse, i don’t see why it wouldn’t. maybe the part that goes over the rear suspension might pose a little problem. but again, with a little modification, anything can work.
i say, buy an exhaust made for a DA, and cut it right before the pipe bends towards the drivers side, and then just have a universal muffler hung on the passenger side. but that would probably cost more than its worth, though.

Thanks guys. the reason I was asking about it is because my cousin will sell me his N1 3" custom system for $50. probably worth every bit of $500, if it will fit. that is why I want to get it. he was making decent power with it on his DC, and now he is going K series and doesnt need it. it would be perfect if it would fit with very little mods but no definite answer yet, as if it will fit. I don’t have the exhaust and not even near him to see it in person, but I really, really want it. a couple of my freinds said that its just the hangers but they havent done it, and eyeballing another DC, looks like it will. I don’t know for sure. if it’s just the hangers, I’m good. I have the Combat rear bumer with 2 openings to run te exhaust to either side.

buy it i have spent more on useless shit before…at least you will have some 3" piping to use later on if it dosent work.
