I did a search but I didn’t find anything. I work for advanced auto parts, we have a tester that can test batteries and alternators on the car. I tested mine and the alternator charges great until I put my a/c and headlights on(night-time driving) it drops to 12.5 volts which is directly from the battery. The alternator I stock is a 70 amp model, I noticed that a 94 GS teg has 90 amps. I don’t have one in stock to compare but I do have a picture guide of alternators and they look identical and also have the same plug, so does anyone know if they are interchangeable?
if the mounting holes line up, and the pulley will accept the belt or the motor will accept the belt from the new alt. then yeah it will work. the higher amp. rating will be good if you put a strong load on the engine… IE: a/c, lights, audio/video system, etc…
Might also take more HP to drive it.
