i wanna redo my b20 into a crvtec and i wanna play it safe and get stronger rods becuz ill be revving higher, i dont wana have to spend alot on aftermarket rods, but since gsr’s rev to like 8K i just figured buy some gsr rods, they will work in a b20 correct? im going to replace the b20z pistons for 11:5 comp wiseco pistons to, thanks, please reply

The rod length is different, you’ll need to get custom pistons to make it work and by custom, I don’t mean off the shelf Wisecos.

Just use the gsr crank with the rods and you wont eed custom pistons
Slprteg, thanks, i cant believe i never of thought of using a gsr crank, thanks again, peace!
So your’re saying if we drop a b18C crank, rods, and pistons into a B18a/b the piston/deck height will be OK??
b20 deck height is the exact same as thee b18x deck height. So yes, you can drop b18c1 crank, pistons, and rods in a LS block and it will fit perfectly. You will be destroking the LS slightly tho…
Note: You cant use the gsr pistons in a b20 block, you will have 0 compression (GSR pistons are 81mm and b20 are 84mm)
Thanks for the info.
