would the Gs-R ecu ft into the plugs that i already have in the car ???
It will fit but will not work. ECU won’t be able to shift tranny.
What do u mean ???
What do u mean?? and what can i do about it ???
Meaning the ECU will does not have the capability to work in an automatic car.
and if your car is a 90-91 you will also either fry the ecu or your injectors. the non-obd (90-91) hondas used saturated (low impedence) injectors, whereas the obd-1 (92-94 or 95?) use peak-and-hold (high impedence) injectors. therefore the injector type won’t mesh with the ecu type and something will get fried. i also might be backward somewhere between terminology but that’s the gist of it and will definately be a problem.
and like JETSPD said, the gs-r ecu, which was only a manual transmission, doesn’t have the programming in it to control and automatic transmission, such as telling it when to shift.
would it work on my 93 LS?

please tell me you’re kidding. this is the same question we just answered. is it an automatic? you realize it won’t give you vtec and will ultimately give you marginal benefit, if any?
The ECU does not shift the automatic transmission. The a/t is controlled by a separate computer located under the drivers side dash forward of the door. Has its own indicator light for reading codes and everything. For the rest of you who are asking, if you put the vtec ecu into the non vtec car, if the car does not have OBD (90 or 91) you run the rish of damaging something, if the car is OBD (92 or 93) it will run like **** and throw checklights because there is vo vtec solenoid. If you want a higher redline and better fuel maps, just chip it.
