Hey, Im looking at a set of rims/rubber for my 92 RS and I found a set of 17’s for a really good price but Im not sure if they will fit without rubbing. They rubber are 205/40r17 and the rims are Enkei (“Klamp” I think). Just wanted to know if I could get 17’s to fit. Thanks
you can make 17’s fit without much effort
You should be fine with the 40 series tires.
they will fit, but tooo big IMO.
even 16’s are pushing it a lil, nothing bigger than 16 imo

they should fit. i got some 17s with a 2.5 inch drop. no rubbing at all. and i live on a BUMPY 2 mile dirt driveway. 40 series tire. i want some 16s but these were crazy cheap. throw them on and drive it.
I had 17’s with 50 series tires and they rubbed a little bit on the inside while the wheel was at full turn. with 40 series tires you should be ok.
Ended up throwin them on, looks great, no rub and the ride seems fine, Thanks for the help/advice.
