window adjustment question

I was wondering how you adjust the front window in and out? I know the four bolts at the bottom of the sliders are for adjustment but I’m not sure how they work. Do I hold the inner piece with a allan key and turn the bolt to adjust or do I hold the bolt and turn the allan key to adjust? And which way adjusts the window in and which way adjusts it out?

I’ve tried playing around with them but no matter what I do it doesnt seem to change the window position much.

If your window rolls up all the way and stays open a little bit, try adjusting the 2 stoppers. (They’re in line with the vertical tracks, at the very top of the doorpanel. Take a socket to it, and adjust it. Experiment. and when you have found the right setting where the window is flush with the weather molding, tighten them down.)
