My window tint on my hatch has this white-ish powder and i have no idea to clean it any ideas???/ i will post up pics.
invisable glass cleaner (autozone) and newspaper

hmm is the whitish looking stuff all over you hatch window or in a line? recently my cars tint has been forming a whitish line of sort all the way around my car… looks like my car has had water all the way up to mid windows but it hasnt lol… just wondering if u had the same prob?
yea it is just all over the wondows that have tint on em my hatch and the windows in the back. i managed to clean the ones in the back a little better than before. the hatch i notcied when i was with my girl and it got all foged up i was wrting on the hatch and the powder whiteish stuff was off on the parts where i worte after it dried up, if that makes any sense
Wow this one is new to me lol…I’ve tinted windows professionally for almost 7 years and have never heard of this problem…btw, I always use spray on wax and lint-free paper towels to clea
n all of my tint jobs and my own personal windows. As u probably know, any window cleaner with ammonia will damage the film and most likely turn it purple.
well when i bought my car my window tint looks purple idk if they wanted it that way but whatever i wanna get it all redone to the darkest black i can get it. The drivers side window has scratchs on it you think with the tint they will be more visable???
Depends on how bad the scratches are…if they’re on the inside, they’ll appear white. If they’re on the outside and not too bad, you can take a compound wax and buff the window with an electric buffer and they won’t appear SO bad…light scratches will almost disappear.
