Guys, I need all your help. I live up near Winnipeg, Canada, and it is cold up here. As soon as I take my car out of my garage, the windows fog up. It does not matter how high my fan is blowing, they constantly fog up. I have to crack my window so that I can see out my windsheild. If any one has a solution or any hints on how to correct this problem, I would really appretiate the help.
I live in Toronto, Canada, and i get the same problem to. I also, have to crack the window. Another problem also, is, if I ever leave the car outside overnight and it and freezes, i get frost on the inside of the rear window. Make’s water drip everywhere in the back. So can you help me too???:clown:
try rainx fogx… it might help… but because of your climate it some something that is unavoidable… foggy windows is a result of a higher temp inside your car as opposed to outside your car… i fogot my science classes but i think it has something to do with condensation…?
I do not have a perfect seal. If I have my window rolled up, that is when the windows fog. I do not think that that is the problem, but if you know for sure, let me know. I will try anything.
When you first start the car, turn the AC on if you have it, and turn the heat up all the way. Press the defrost button so that all of the air is on the windshield. The AC will pull the moisture out of the air. Also make certain that you have your vents on the fresh air setting, not the one where the air is recirculating through the car, this will just cause the windows to fog up again. Once they are defoged, you can turn the AC off, and you should be fine. I would not drive with AC on all the time, you get horrible gas milage. Just use it as you need it and turn it off when the windows are defoged.
One thing I found is you need to have the outside air button pushed or the windows will fog up . If you have it so your recycling the inside air the windows fog up . Try that and see if it makes a difference . It did for me !
Leavve your windows cracked at nite so the air inside is the same temp as the outside air. Thats wat I do, but i live in sacramento and it works but it maybe different in CAN.

That works or turn AC dial halfway turnon outside air and turn temperature dial (underneath A/C dial) to the 12 o’clock position, hit your hatch defroster and your windshield defroster and then u will see results…the windows will clear in minutes guaranteed

A/C works great for me… and like g2tegger90 said, keep it on outside air… actually you should try and avoid ever putting it on recycled air. this can lead to molding (that nasty piss smell you sometimes smell in the morning when you first turn on your car)…
Its funny how no one really knows to turn on their AC when there windows fog up. I tell people this all the time and they are like WOW!! lol But if you have a newer honda car and turn the dial to window defrost the ac automatically turns on.
Well what happens is that the Air Conditioner does just that, it conditions the air, or gets the moisture out of it I guess. But if you have a RS that doesn’t have AC, ur screwed and have to use ur windows and freeze ur azs off. I know, I use to not have AC, then I installed it! Works in the winter and summer! HTH
Oh but when the AC is on, I turn my heat dial half to full way so I don’t freeze too
