Hi everyone. I have a question. I thought I posted this somewhere already, but I dont know where it is now?! But ah, am I allowed (by law) to put a windshield sticker at the bottom of
the windshield? you know, the ones that go all the way across the windshield. and also, will the wipers ruin it?
well I searched the internet and didn’t find anything specific on stickers and I talked to my cousin who did some tinting and thought maybe he knew. He said you should call a local tint shop and check w/ them because they’ll have the most recent laws on things like that. Hope that helps a little
My friend in Alabama put one at the bottom of his windshield on his Eclipse. He got pulled over for it 3 times and finally got rid of it. It hinders your vision too.
i would think regular window tint would be ok but i dont think the stickers that you cant see through are legit. my friend use to have the top and bottom and from the inside you can barely see anything. just my personal opinion but windshield stickers are a bit old school and ricy.
Yeah, thats what Ill do. I call a tint shop. I agree they are old school. I only wanted it for the bottom, not the top. Now i dont want it anymore:bored:
I know what ricy is now! My dad told me! Anyway, the sticker isnt tinted. It just says “Acura” and I decided to put it on… but thank you though.
i have somthing across the bottom of my windshield and have never had a proplem w/ the police and it is on the bottom and it is fine
I had one, I took it off the other day. It does mess the wipers up a little bit to the point they get annoying b/c of the way they wipe the window.
i think in most states anything on your windsheild or back window are illegal. but its up to the cop if want to give ya a ticket. a alot of times they will pull ppl over for speeding and if they feel like bein a dick they will give you another ticket for the stickers. ive been in my friends civic and its happend twice. he has a banner on top and a sticker at the bottom of the windshield. thats why i dont have any on mine:down:

dono what you guys would think.
put a 35% or so tint strip on the top of your windshield. Then put your sticker on under it so its kinda faded, then put another tint strip on under that.

If you check the side of your windshield there is a short line on the side which denotes any thing below it obstructing your vision is illegal.
