Winter Storage...

So i have my Integra that’s going to be put away for some part of the winter b4 i start doing some bodywork. there are 2 main diffrent ways to store it outside…covered and uncovered…both have there pro and cons and i cant decide on how i should. My main objective is to keep the rust now to a minimum.

Covered:
Pros: away from snow, away from the sun, away from salt. no ice build up.
Cons: would hold in moisture and speed up the rust, A home for an un-welcomed furry creature. could look like there lots of goodies for thieves

and well Uncovered is pretty much evrerything but opposite…accept for the thieves part.

The Blue integra is going to be parked where my Black(winter beater) is parked in this picture.

Any ideas would be great.

any reason why it cant stay where it is now?

it cant go into the garage, and i have no place at my place for it, that’s my parents house which is 600km away from me…so the only home in the winter is that corner…or i pay for a storage unit…155 a month…

ever think about getting a tarp or some kind of car port? and just put it in there

a car port sounds like a good idea, i think im going to build one to the house. thanks for that sugestion

man that blue integra is pretty sweet i would keep that one in and have hte black one as my winter driver

thats what he is doing, he stated that in the first post, his black da is his “winter beater”

that is one sexy da though that blue one

thanks man, just trying to keep it lookin clean. that’s y the bodywork is going to be done, to make it look better:rockon:

Are you planning on putting those 1 pieces on the blue teggy? If not, since that’s your beater, would you be willing to sell those 1 pieces? Just curious.

i agree with venom lol since its your beater you should hook a brother up id love to have some 1pc’s luckily it doesn’t rain where i live =] eventually im going to get some winter hubs in 16’s lol and maybe rock the lime green hubs
