Hey my driver wiper exceeds my windowframe when its on, it looks like its alligned properlly because when in rest they are sitting at the low point of my window, but not off… any idea what I can do? its just the top 1/4 of the wiper that comes off… the wiper is the proper size for my teg!

Are you sure you have the right size blades? Left and right are different lenght, you know.
I’ve never had this happen to me, but I would just take the wiper arms off, cycle wiper switch on/off and reinstall wiper arms to a position desired usualy the lowest possible.

Try taking the wiper arm off and putting it back on a few notches closer to your rain tray… Should help…
check to see, with the wipers off, if you can move the wiper arm up and down, if you do this more than about 1/2" each way, it’s likely that the washers that space the arms around the motor shaft are shot, I just replaced mine due to this, there were times where they would stay on the windshield just fine, other times, mostly on the hi-way or at higher speeds, they would be flapping over the A-pillar.
Just a helpful word of what it could be from experience.

i need to replace mine aswell then…not to be dumb or anything but anyway you could explain how to do this a little more in depth? :stare:
in order to do this u must take of the black plastic cover that is sitting under the wipers. there will be 2 metal bars that can be poped out of the holding places but if urs is freely moving like discribed above then the plastic joint holding lookin thing is busted and will need to be replaced. i dont have an exploded view but if u go to acura like i did then they will give a view and u can see 2 long metal bars under the plastic cover. get those two parts and that should fix the loose/flappy wiper problem. get ur hands dirty and take it about and inspect them before u go buy both unless u want to replace both at the same time. hopefully someone will give u a better rite up.

Mine do that as well, really floppy, 244k will do that I guess. You can grab the wiper arms at rest and move them a good 4-5 inches up and down… will add that repair to the long list!
