Wire identification help please!

Found this the other night and don’t know where they goes…

I’m talking about the green, tan and brown wire.

Thanks in advance!

Where exactly in the car is that?

MM&Y of car would help.:tapfing:94

yeah, that picture does not make sense to me…

Looks like front left corner of car… but if it’s an integra… what’s the transmission doing there?

That doesn’t look like any part of a G2 Teg I can think of.

91 Integra RS 2 Doors, that’s the Front Driver side of the car

K20 in it, not running for now, still building up the car.

Sorry for the missed infos…

Thanks in advance…again!

OK, Now I get it, LOL

I just checked under my hood, and I can’t tell the wire colors for sure due to the dirt/oil buildup and darkness, but I believe they may be for the A/C and Radiator Fan Relays which are mounted right next to the radiator on the back of the radiator support (between the radiator and driver headlight).

Might want to check in the service manual if the wire colors match up.

I still don’t get it.

They are not for the rad and condenser fan relays, [not absolutely sure about condenser fan relay location] they are on pass side of car and the wire colors are…

Rad fan relay…
Black
Blue
Yellow/green
Black/yellow
Condenser fan relay…
Blue/black
White
Black/yellow
Blue

Going over the wiring diagrams I have for G2s I can’t find anything that they could be, most wiring in the engine and front chassis harness are not solid colors they have tracers.

Are you sure there are no tracers on the leads?

What other leads/plugs are with the 3 leads? :hmm:94

Maybe A/C since it was equiped with it when I got it.

When you’re talking about traver, are you talking about a colored line like a Green/Yellow wire? ( III

Thanks

Yes, when I give a wire color, [yellow/green] the wire color is the first one, [yellow] and the tracer, [thin colored line running the length of the wire] is the second color, [green], yellow wire with a green tracer.

There are no green, tan or brown leads, [with or without tracers] on any A/C component, [Condenser Fan Relay, A/C Compressor Clutch, A/C Pressure Switch, A/C Thermostat or the A/C Diode pack. 94

Daaaaaaaaaahhh…

I just got back from outside…checked the color of the wire

White/Green
Green/Black
Black

Camera suck… sorry guys:dozing:

Any helps?

Unlike Canadian, [CDM] G2s, USDM G2s have an “Engine Oil Temperature Switch” it has a white/green and a black lead going to it, black is ground, white/green is output to the “Radiator Fan Control Module”, [also something a CDM G2 does not have].

There is a green/blue “Left Front Turn Signal”

The only green/black leads I can find are the ECU/ECM control lead to the PGM-FI Main Relay, [fuel pump relay] and that’s all inside the car.
There is also the green/black from the “Back-Up Lights Switch” to back-up lights, on manual transmission that would be in the engine bay, on autos it runs from the “A/T Gear Position Switch” to the back-up lights.

So the question is, could it be the left signal lead. [green/blue]?:stare:94

The car was originally an Automatic… maybre the wire was broken…I don’t remember If I had Back-Up…

If CDM G2 don’t have the Engine Oil Temp Switch…Is the wire are suposed to be there or not?

Thanks a lot!

are those for the corner/bumpe/headlights? i know the bumper lights have a green one and a black one also

The automatic did not have a green/black in the engine bay, it ran from the console to the back-up lights.

My wiring diagrams for CDM G2s does not show wiring for the “EOTS” and I have a G3 so I can’t even look.:shrug:94
