Ok I bought a 90 real cheap for a beater have several problems with it. I expected this for $800 but it has clean quarters and a healthy b16 so I figured what the hell…
the windows don’t work(moonroof does)
the clock and interior lights don’t work(every time I put a fuse in it pops instantly)
there’s no power to the radio
I know most likely I’m gonna have to just trace it all down but if any of these issues are common let me know where to start.
With the windows,start by checking the drivers side switch,it controls both and it might be bad. The clock,radio,and inside lights run off the same fuse,so start looking for a wire that is grounding out behind the radio or cig lighter.
check the power window relay an the fuse there…is the radio a factory one or after market?
If your popping a fuse more than likely it’s grounding out. Check all fuse before you start tracing wires. Check any relays, switches or more obvious issues. Good luck on your project.
if the radio is aftermarket, thats where id go first then, just start looking for melted wires, all 5 of my G2s have melted wires somewhere

Thanks guys, I’m gonna hopefully pull it in the garage today or over the weekend and start tracing wires. I thought I had a spare drivers side window switch but I don’t. gonna have to hit up the junkyard and see if I can find a DA
also the automatic belts don’t work nor does the heat but the switch is definitely messed up so I need to replace it
On the deck see if the dimmer like i think it called is grounding out by touching metal…seat belts check the fuse in the engine bay…heat no sure yet…driver window switch you need one? if you cant find one let me know i have some for sale just shot me an offer greazemunkey73@yahoo.com
I would see if the heater hoses are even connected,i would also check the thermostat if the hoses are on,or if the fan don’t work,check the fuse
i have a complete mint dash and engine harness if you wana run fresh wires lmk il let it go cheap

thanks again for the help[/QUOTE]well i paid for mine shipped from cali 125 but il do the cabin harnes for 80 plus shiping and 45 for engine hatnes plus shipping shipping should b more than 20. that includes packaging tracking number and insurance lmk
alright I will keep it in mind once I tear into it. If I go that route I’m gonna go ahead and switch the dash out from blue to black as well cause I want to switch the interior color to the black and tan colored one like my last DA had
well i got a bunch of black interior panels and stuff also have a full gsr interior lmk
I have alot of black interior parts too but I was looking for a black dash, the black and tan seats, door panels and rear panels. that will be in the future, right now i just gotta get everything working
I even have 2 clean black hatch covers as well which I understand are hard to come by
well i have the rear tan and black special edition seats lmk also a dash but thatl b alot to ship the dash id ship the seats
