Whats up G2’ers. Im starting to build my first motor, and i need some help identifying some pistons. I have a GSR head, and i just tore down my spare b18a1 block.
These are the pistons in question,

They are Wiseco Pistons and the seller states that they are B16 pistons with a 12.5.1 compression ratio. However, from what I’ve seen, pistons with a 12.5 compression ratio have more of a pointed dome. Am I wrong? And also, i thought b16 pistons were somewhere around 11.1 - 11.6 compression ratio?
B16b which is from a civic type r have the dome top like the first pic
Dont CTR (PCT) pistons have more of a point at the dome than these Wiseco’s?

I think the Wiseco’s look more similar to a P30 piston than a CTR piston because they have a flatter dome.

But regardless, do you think these Wiseco’s would be okay to run in my LS Vtec?
The Wiseco’s are definitely bigger than the P30s.
They’d be fine to run in an lsvtec.
Those will NOT yield 12.5:1 in a B16 block.
CTR pistons in a B16 will yield 11.76:1…those Wiseco’s do not appear bigger than a CTR piston.
edit
These, in a stock deck-height LS block and stock surface B16 head makes about 11.5:1 ;
