Just wondering if a dc obd1 harness works in a da obd1 car?
Nope. Wire layout and plugs are different.
You could get it to work if you changed a bunch of stuff on it, but its not worth the trouble.
There are a few harnesses for sale here… though one of them that comes to mind is a GSR harness. But that would be a ton better than the DC unit.
Thanks for the reply. I see that there are 3 up on egay but they are freakin $175-$200. ughhhhh.
Chase bays o rywire etc?
the only problem im having is this…
the engine harness has 9 wires which 6 come from the §§§§§, 2 grounds and 1 goes to the o2
the dash harness has 5 wires, 2 for the map, 1 §§§§§, 1 o2, and 1 for the §§§§§
anyone know how to wire these up to make the engine run?
Engine Harness:
CKP
TDC
CYP
CKP
+12V CONST.
CYP
GND
O2
GND
Dash Harness
+12V CONST.
MAP
IGN CONT MOD
MAP
02
now if i connect the 2 +12v constants, ground the grounds, tap into the map, and splice the o2 she’ll start?
by the way i have an abortion here
