summit racing carries black wrinkle paint. With shipping and everything most likely $10?
good call. thanks
theres a auto paint called SEM acid etch primer, its best to put a coat of that on first so it will stick to the metal and protect it from the heat.
i used the krylon wrinkle paint on my valve cover and then after it dried i sprayed over it with high temp paint and it looks great.
i find that brake paint does an excellent job! even more resistant to heat than motor paint, i did that on a few valve covers, and they all still look great like the day i painted them!
yeah i’ve been told that too. i’ve got some duplicolor brake caliper paint that i might use, you brush it on instead of spray it on though. it comes with brake cleaner and pretty much all you’ll need to do em yourself in an afternoon.
