www.stockinteriors.com?

im getting some samples from them in a few days and im just wondering if anyone ever bought from www.stockinteriors.com. they seem to be a good company and i have seen a good bit of poeple from honda-tech buy from them but no G2’s. just wondering if any one bought from them and the quility of the product?

My friend recently purchased carpet from them for his DB1. This fitment was absolutely perfect so much so that I just ordered carpet for my DB1 on Monday.

mine didnt end up fitting at all, im going to see if a interior shop can fix it, if not ill have to just get a interior shop to take carpet an draw it out i want good fitment.

That’s odd… It’s molded for the specific year and body i.e coupe, sedan etc you order. My friend even ordered the mass backing which makes it extra plush and still it fit like a charm. Maybe you ordered the incorrect year…

What about it didn’t fit? I’ve heard that many of these aftermarket carpets don’t come with the proper holes cut in them for stuff like the seatbelts. Originally I thought that sucked, but now I’m considering trying to find one like that because I’ve been looking for a canadian carpet for 3+ yrs now with no luck.

yes, very interesting to hear this as well. i was looking for a decent condition RHD carpet, because all the holes are on the opposite side, and i also got rid of my stock belts. i called ACC but the people they have answering the phones dont know what day it is…

can anyone confirm if the holes are pre-cut on these carpets??

when i was on there site they said its not precut. i think its good this way. its not that hard. just lay the old carpet on top of the new and just use like white chalk to cut everything you need.

the carpet is pre cut to fit the car but you have to cut all the holes out for the seats center council seat belts and so on but if you take your time it works out its not gonna be a 123 job it takes patience

stockinteriors.com is ok. I bought carpet from them to put in my dc. The carpet is molded “closely” to stock but not exactly. I had to do some mods to make my carpet fit. Just dont expect the carpet to fit exactly as like oem thats all. If you want anymore info email dpintos382@yahoo.com

my buddy ordered a carpet fromthem for hisDA and it fit super nice i helped install it and i loved it i will be getting one come spring time.

I work at an upholstery shop and can tell you that so far everyone is pretty much correct. ACC mats and carpet are premolded and larger than oem. This allows for any alterations that need to be made. I have installed them in C5 Corvettes several times as well as Miatas, Maximas, and others that I cant think of off the top of my head. They do require patience, but if you take your time they should turn out fine. Check us it out in the sponsors forum, we are Leatherseats.com. I have several group buys going.

From everything that I have read on other forums about stockinteriors.com is that the holes for the carpet are not precut and you do have to do a little bit of modification to make the carpet fit. I researched these a while back and thats what I found. I’ll probably redo my carpet over the summer, to hopefully go with my new floormats!

back from the dead- I’m thinking about getting new carpet for the DA myself and I’m curious if this is the place to go to buy it?
Anyone get the just plain ole carpet or does everyone get it with the backing? My car is loud already and if the backing works like a sound deadener, it might be a wise idea?

i been considering this option as well… i been searching craigslist and ebay, nobody ever sellin the blue sedan carpet…

i’m glad you’re curious about the mass backing, i’d like to have it too, as i have no carpet or sound deadening material… Hopefully someone comes through…
