So I had full intentions of getting lightweight black 16" rims for my black DA. I started off with wanting Enkei RPF1’s, then O.Z. Alleggerita’s, now XXR 526 or 502’s.
The thing is with the Enkei’s and O.Z’s is that they are light and will do well with lowering unsprung weight but I’m just not happy with how they look.
My DA is no longer a daily driver and I will only have full boltons as performance mods, so it’s not like I’m going to be racing with this car.
I understand 16" rims are the biggest a DA should go but these 526 and 502 are really tempting to me. Problem is that the smallest they run are 17’s. I want rims with a lip but I’m not looking for deep dish, so these rims fit the bill. I don’t like those old school XXR 002 and 501’s.
What I’m looking for is some poke, for an aggressive look. Maybe 1-1.5 degrees of camber all around. I understand the fenders will have to be rolled.
Is there anyone that is able to photoshop these rims on the car? I’m looking for a functional no finger gap drop. No tuck, or slammed.
Also I’d like some of your opinions. Thank you.
