I think that the people that put my Tranny one jacked it ip. I had blown my stock tranny after 170K on the car. I got my hands on a JDM Y1 tranny and installed a Stage 2 clutch and a lightweight flywheel. I got the car back about 3 weeks ago and I just noticed that the car is now starting to burn bad… Even if i baby the car it smokes…
When I stop the car and get out to see where its comming from it looks like its comming out the bottom end of the exhaust manafold. The smoke is white and smells like burnt motor… YUCK!
Last night I attempted to raise the car (got one side to go up but my left coilover is jacked up) and see if i could get a better view of where the smoke is comming from…
Any ideas what could be the problem… Myabe they didnt put enough tranny fluid in or any at all. the fly wheel was dirty from people touching it, could that be a problem. Or is it the Clutch cable that runs down the left side of the motor? should i try to adjust the cable and which way… Maybe the trannys not really hooking up and that could be it.
