You have a problem with the PGM-FI Main Relay, specifically the fuel pump power output, [yellow/black] from the fuel pump relay in the PGM-FI Main Relay, a very common problem on G2s.
This should be repaired right away as fuel pump relay is normally controled by the ECU/ECM, in your case it is on all the time the ign. is on.
In most cases it is repairable if you know how to solder, this will help… http://techauto.tripod.com/mainrelay.htm
as this should, [more G2 specific]… http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/mainrelay.html
You could also just replace it… http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/90-93-acura-integra-OEM-main-fuel-gas-pump-relay-STOCK_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trksidZp3286Q2em20Q2el1116QQitemZ180213827431 around $60-$70 new, or hit your local pick and pull, [bone yard] about $10.:)94
thanks man that helps alot
sorry to open an old thread, but out of all my searching this is all i could come up with.
i have a similar problem with the yellow/black wire, mine is cut with a wire ran to a wire by the fuse box. i have already changed my main relay, and i still have nothing when i re-connect the yellow/black wire. i chased the wire all the way through the harness up behind the fusebox and i there are no breaks in the wire, ive also unhooked the relay and put 12V to the terminal or yellow/black wire on the relay plug, and still nothing.
i really would like to get rid of this stray red wire and the rigged wiring job as im trying to clean the interior of the car up a little, and i also dont fully trust the idea of the only wire keeping my fuel pump going is rigged. any help would be awesome.
