I’ve searched around i know there is a million threads on this just couldn’t find the one i needed. I have the USDM Headlights and fogs now im just looking for a site to order the yellow bulbs for my fogs. I don’t want the yellow housing from the the Legend etc etc. If anyone has a reliable site to recommend it would be appreciated thanks.
if you want your fogs to be yellow then you need the yellow caps from the legend. aftermarket bulbs burn to hot and will melt the fog housing.
i know this because ive been through 2 sets of fog housings from aftermarket bulbs. i got the caps and life is good now. why dont you want the yellow caps? theyre easy to install and theres no real downside to having them if your goal is to have yellow fogs…
if you had 1 pieces then you can run the piaa yellow bulbs and be fine. thats the set up in my car now and i have no issues…
alternative option for yellow fogs.
i have yellow fog light bulbs actual bulbs.
go to amazon . com look up h3 yellow fog light bulbs
mfg or company that makes them is called Opti lux they are under 20 bucks
you can also find yellow lens cover tape on amazon as well

This is what I have. Just get a low wattage one. I got 55w and have had no problems, been in about a year. I use the as drl and they are a nice yellow, and I haven’t had any issues with them getting to hot
You can also find the yellow caps in a 88-89 Honda prelude equipped with fog lights (that’s where I got mine) and they fit perfect and looked great. IMO you are not going to get the deep yellow look with just a bulb alone, the caps are key.
I don’t know what color temp the caps are but I get that color with the
Hella Optilux extreme xy xenon halogen h3 bulbs part# h71070662
they are a 55w/12v these are also not legal on street but they are fog lights (idc)
Color is 3000k
You can buy them at any auto zone amazon cheaper and easier than locating the caps and paying higher price sue to availability
My luminics brand krypton series jdm yellow 9004 headlights are even a deeper yellow rated at 2500k (illegal for street use, but screw em) they output 140w L / 120w H
Idk you can get an idea of deep yellow as most are 3500k the lower the number the deeper the yellow
