yellow fogs
i heard that jdmcarboy isnt a legit site tho…and they take hella long to deliver
Do you have a Michael’s, or Hobby Lobby nearby? If not, any arts and crafts store will have what you are looking for. I found mine at Michael’s. It is called stained glass paint, or something like that. Basically, anything transparent yellow will work. Once you get the paint, if you want to paint them from the inside, do this.
*Take your bumper off, then your headlight assembly off.
*Loosen the 8mm nut on the outside of the assy, next to the foglight.
*Take the bulb out, it stays attached to the headlight.
*Heat up your oven to 200 degrees.
*Put your foglights in for about 10 minutes.
*Pull the clear lens away from the gray backing.
*clean out as much of the old sealant that you can.
*Spray however many coats of paint is necessary to get the desired look. Do several light coats, I know this, but sometimes I get carried away. I had to redo one of the fogs completely because I got overzealous.
*Let dry for a while.
*Run a bead of clear RTV silicone sealant in the groove of the gray piece.
*Place the two halves together.
*Let rest for about an hour, then put the clips back on and put it all back together.
*Install in reverse.
I will post up some pictures of my car with my fogs tomorrow. If you get impatient, search for Isabel, then you should find some pictures.
