well a while ago i bought nokya 9004 yellow headlight bulbs for my db1. i was told that they shuld work fine with the stock harness so i hooked em up. they actually did work fine for a while until one of the headlights started cutting on and off when i had my headlights on. i checked the socket on the bulb and saw that the ground prong was burned for that headlight. i went back to the same shop and picked up a pair of nokya wiring harness replacements to go with the bulbs, then i spliced em in. they worked fine until i checked the bulbs again and saw that they burned the new harnesses too. i did sum searching on this sight and realized that the wattage for the bulbs was too high for the wattage on my db1. the bulbs were rated at 60W for low beam and 75W for high beam. is this why my bulbs and the harness are burned? is there a reputable brand that makes yellow headlight bulbs with the correct wattage for 2nd gen tegs? thanks for your help…
