You know youre in a DA when...
…ur passenger side window switch doesn’t bring the window up but only down, therefore only the driver side switch can bring the passenger window up; yet takes twice as long to completely close.

(might just be my car)
my passenger window can only be put up with the passenger switch. i can only put it down with the drivers switch, and if it does decide to work then it takes like 2 minutes.

i know im in my integra when, i have to ask my passengers to kick the blower motor because it doesnt turn on by itself sometimes.

…when your valves sound like a handful of gravel in an aluminum tumbler, but you keep putting off rebuilding the valvetrain because you might have to go a day or two without driving it.:manual:

when you open the valve cover and find out that theres a broken rocker arm.

I realised one today…this might just apply to me, cause I think it’s dependent on height but you know never know…

I always seem to hit my funny bone on the ebrake button when it’s up, I’ve done it so many times I’ve lost count. Does that happen to anyone else?

You must be short…

you know you’re in the backseat of a da when your knees are bowed around the front seet and your heads tilted 60 degrees to the side

you know you’re short and drive a DA when you hit your funny bone on the e-brake

5’7

ive never hit my funny bone on the ebrake…didn’t think it was possible unless you drive with your ebrake up

omg ur getting clowned…let this thread die. 7% of posts are actually DA specific. and I gotta b18c-R!

…when you know just the right angle to put your sun visor so that the seatbelt doesn’t get caught on it when you open the door.

…you think paying $200+ for canadian manual seatbelt parts is probably worth it.

…you can’t start your car because you hit the clutch too hard and the little plastic pedal stopper that presses the clutch starter switch gives up. so for the next week while waiting for a replacement you have to reach way up under your dash and press the button to start your car.

ok fine, so this stuff could apply to any 4g civic… :stuck_out_tongue: the thread is still pretty funny

Oh, right, I didn’t realise these things only applied while you’re driving. I mean, like the very first one. “When you slam the door with the window down and it sounds like a Mack truck”. I guess that happens when you’re driving. DUH.

you didnt specify while driving or not so how am i supposed to know?

Sounds like most of you guys need a new car. My DA is in great shape. No water on the floor/trunk. No funny sounds. And I really like my auto seatbelts, (never get a ticket for not wearing it). Only thing I can agree with is the sound of the door w/the window down. I can’t fix that problem.

You look around on the freeway and you wouldnt trade for anything around you

after i drove my uncles new 2007 Acura TL Type-S i still love my DA over it

…when you realize your a badass mofo!

When your motor blew, nothing on the interior works, suspension is bad, smells like your work and its still worth putting 2k into it getting a motor.

when your foot hits wires and stuff above the brake pedal because you have big feet.

When all of your friends comment on how “clean” and beautiful your stock interior is, because it does indeed look better that many newer cars.

When you floor it and the clock reset cover flips down.
