got a new job about an hour and a half closer to my parents’ house along with my friends’, then going in 50/50 with parents on a condo 1.5 miles from work.
picked up my 2004 TL with six speed manual and navigation.
Being one of the few blacks to graduate from University of California, Santa Barbara and the only man to go and finish college in my family. That’s about it. Oh and passing smog on the DA.

My evil 1%er bosses giving me bonus after a bonus just for doing my job. Thats pretty much whats been missing for my entire working career. 1) Being recognized as valuable to the company. 2) Being compensated correctly for being valuable to the company. I’m dying to see what 2012 has lined up for me.
Getting married.
Started a new career.
Getting my GTI.
Paid off some debt. It’s been a good year.
Got a job. Bought a db1, bought a tv, xbox 360. This years been a lot of ups and downs, especially failing college but seeing as what life has thrown at me this year, I’m excited to see what it has to bring for 2012.
Today
Was in the drive-through ordering food, and the guy kept fucking up my order, so i lost my cool “LIKE ALWAYS” and yelled my order beck to him, and once again, he didn’t get it right, so i asked for another worker. The other worker gets my order correct, and so i pull to the window “STILL HEATED” to find out the guy had down syndrome. I have never felt so bad in my life, i so need anger management class’s, cause i know ill go to hell. Not my best moments, but was for my grandmother, cause see hasn’t stopped rubbing it in my face.
A lot more downs than ups, but 90-110 hour work weeks, trying to do everything in your small business that offers far too much stuff for a wide array of clients will do that too you. Way too stressful and if things don’t change I’ll never see 40.
-Journeyed my current position at work
-Put full effort into my side/summer job and almost doubled my yearly income. Gives me hope I can turn it into a full time gig.
-Paid off all debt other than mortgage.
2011 was much better than 2010. Plan to be debt free (except for a house) and have a house by 2012. Hopefully earlier.
thedude- don’t spread yourself too thin man. hire someone!
this year has more down than up for me. the hours at retail sucked so i didn’t get much pay and my sleep schedule was wack compared to working at the pharmacy in 2010.
up was going back to school for fall semester. don’t like school but it was productive.
i hope 2012 will be better as i’ll be taking more risks.
more downs than ups my mother was in a coma for 10 months of the year was let go from my job because it was slow . i was unemployed 1/2 of 2011 but decided to go back to school to be a motorcycle tech. had my second son in may biggest up of my year besdies my mother awakening from her coma

Word on the street is that the kid secured the coveted title of “employee of the year” 17 months after walking through the front door of The Union. I find out tomorrow at the company holiday party, should be epic either way.
