About what? What kind of suspension you want to run?
^ well I’m looking for a smooth (not bouncy) ride. And I want something that’s adjustable for when I go the track. I’m gonna be boosting so I’m interested in something tht will give me less wheel hop. My boy had Ksports (older design) on his spec-v and he said it was the WORST. This was about 3-4 years ago. However people now have said tht with there improved design Ksports are really good. Everyone says tht koni/gc is the best set up. But something tells me u can get the same handling from Ksport or function&form.
I can’t really speak for coilovers. All I can tell you is what I have read. K-sports design I believe has gotten better and they aren’t as bad as they used to be. I have a buddy with K-sports on his 92 Accord and they ride just fine for a DD. I have also ridden in DA with Function and Form Type 1’s I believe and it was a little stiffer than the K-sports. Personally I have Eibach Sportlines and Koni yellows and I like them. I want something that’s going to give me a little more adjustablility to lower my car so in the next 4-5 months I’ll be ordering some Ground Control coilovers. From what I have heard/read and everything else, this is one of the best set ups for the money. Just do your research and you’ll find what you are looking for. As far as smooth not bouncy the spring rates will probably determine that. There is plenty of info on this forum about all of this. If you are worried about wheel hop I would say you need to look into traction bars but honestly idk much about that. That would be a good thing for you to research. I’m sure it’s been covered
^thanks bro,…appreciate the help!
buddy club n+ 730 shipped, search ebay
the buddy club name you know and trust at a price you can afford hahaha
Here guys i thought some specials could help people in a money crunch
Also for those interested in the Koni/GC set up, Tirerack.com is running Koni shocks 25% off now until June… Here is the link
Just to put that into perspective for some of ya’ll, I get a wholesale discount through tirerack.com because of my work and last summer when I got Koni yellows I got them at $109 per shock so this is an AMAZING deal. Take advantage of it. For that price and then GC coilovers you can have a great set up for right around $800 which IMO ain’t bad at all

I’m jealous Leo:! Looking good
hey leo, about 1 1/2-2yrs ago u said that my ksports would blow or that it wasn’t really worth it… just updating you still feels brand new… hit alot of potholes n shit too accidentally of course cant see all that well at night anymore… still lovin it too
mrpenny-thanks this set up has left me poor lol but worth it
grobieone-you sure theyre not blown, have you actually taken it apart and checked it, cause my guess is that you havent
and if theyre still good for you
Ksports are still crap no matter how good you say they are
I have ksport drop springs on stock struts and I don’t bounce around at all. Feels like a legit set up. I love em. Way worth it.
it all depends on how u use them and use them resonably…i have D2’s on my accord for 5 years now no problems whatsoever and its daily driven thru chicago winters and horrible roads…
hahah thnx for the cookie… and yes I’ve inspected them every few months… cuz i was actually paranoid about them blowin’ for a bit oh and matty not tryin to sell em on other people just sayin im still satisfied with my buy
its suppose to be suspension and pics. not just pics. whats your setup
I’m looking to do Koni Yellows and H&R Race springs. I don’t think I saw anyone with this setup here. I might have missed it. How’s the ride and does anyone have a pic? Looking to eventually tighten everything up with strut/sway bars all around but suspension first. Sittin on old stock right now. Gonna go back through and re-read to see if i can find this setup.
