Does any one have a diagram of a ys1 tranny…i need to change my tranny oil cause im grinding 2nd 3rd and 4th…i need a diagram on where the drain plug is and the entry is at…thanks yall…
you should download the helms manual (do a search) or at least go buy a Haynes at your local autoparts store. That way you can answer this question as well as a lot of others in the future.
oh, and don’t expect the grinding to go away when you change the fluid. It may help a little…but typically if your tranny is grinding you have a mechanical problem (i.e. bad synchros) and not just lack of or old fluid.
