YS1 tranny in 90 Da9

hey whats up guys my I have a 1990 Integra and I was almost 100% sure that the extra tranny I had laying around would have fit, that tranny bing the YS1. The imput schaft is 1 mm bigger than my old tranny so I know I need a 92 or 93 clutch so my question is will that clutch bold right up to the 90 flywheel? I dont see why not but Im just trying to make sure and I also seen a lot of differences between the to, if anybody has any info on any similar set up let me know what you did and such thanks.

All b-series flywheels are interchangeable… the Pressure Plates are interchangeable.

It will work fine with your new clutch.

i thought there was a “large shaft” and “small shaft” for some of the transmissions and depending on what you had would determine the clutch you would need.

i have no real knowledge on the subject im just bringing it up in hopes someone can clarify…

it only matters for the clutch disc. as mentioned, all b series pp and fw will work. only the disc is different

I thought so good thing that’s true as I already ordered a new light fly n clutch n pp good info!

is there a way to identify the difference without removing the transmission? how would i know which one i have?

Thats awesome guy thanks a lot my tranny took a mean dump and Im having to borrow my homeis EJ for the mean time witch its not bad but miss my Da9. Im glad its just the plate though thats good.

90-91 are small spline, 92-01 are large spline. So just look up the code on the tranny to see which year its from

Alright I got ya I know the 90-91 is slightly smaller I just needed to make sure that the clutch plate for a 92 and up fits the ys1 that I’m trying to put in.
