13 quick ecu flashes cel

Okay i finally got my turbo kit done and i put the burned chip it and my ecu flashes 13 fast times and the car idles at 4 k, when i hit the gas it dies down and bounces like a rev limiter. I put another chip in and it idled at 2,500 and bounced when i hit the gas. Are the chips bad or is there another problem? I put the chips both in backwards and forwards and non work properly.

put them in backwards? something is seriously wrong with your ecu if it flashes more than 9 times fast with no pause. i would try reading it again and check to make sure you didn’t miss the pause.

i checked numerous times and it blinks 13 times fast then stops, then blinks times again fast, constantly. The car idles good around 1500 but when i hit the gas it wil die unless i keep tappin the idle, then it hits 4k and hits like a govenor. I think that its the chip because the 1st chip gave me a sold cel, this ones given me 13. should i keep burnin chips trying? Thanks

Code 13 is ELD or PA sensor in an OBD0 ECU, i forgot which

what do they stand for? I dont know if its code 13 because it blinks 13 times fast then stops, not 1 long and 3 short. Thanks

You dont need to worry about a code 13, you are using TurboEdit?

i’m confused. i have never seen an ecu do that. 13 is 1 slow, 3 fast. good luck man.

Code 13 is Atmospheric Pressure, correct?

I too bought a chipped ecu and attempted to run the stock chip and came up with code 13.

From reading it seems like with OBD0 some have an external/internal sensor i believe. Xeno will probably know for sure…

Krazze…OBD0 ownz you…13 quick flashes

90 Teg - PR4-A01/L01 or PR4-A02/L02, no PA sensor in the ECU, located near the fuse box somewhere under the dash

90-91 CRX Si - PM6-A09 or PM6-L09, no PA sensor in the ECU, located under dash somewhere

91 Teg - PR4-A10/A60/L10/L60, PA sensor located inside the ECU

Yes, code 13 is the Barometric Pressure (Atmospheric Pressure) or PA sensor.

and how bad is it to drive w/ code 13 being thrown because i got a new comp. nd it throws that code but my cars seems way faster nd quicker from the butt dyno of course… car is 91 integra …

shouldnt be too terrible unless you go up a rather large mountain

i know this is a old thread but here is my problem… i have 2 obdo pr4’s one is a ao1 and it throws code 13 when in my car and i have a a10 that throws 43 when i put it in … my car runs better throwing 13 with the a01 but my question is if it isnt insidethe a01 ecu’s why doesnt it throw it when i put in the a10??
