14B mitsu turbo oil feed 7/16"...

I am installing a 14B turbo into my B18A1 1990 RS and it’s almost finished. I can’t locate a 7/16" to -3AN adapter. The 7/16" goes into the turbo. If any one knows where I can get one or if there is a diff way of doing this please let me know.

Thanks

I’m not really sure where you can find anything like that. I bought my lines as a complete kit.

not sure if you have them in your area, but check napa, they had the 1/8npt plug i needed that i couldnt find anywhere

1/8npt is super common, you can pick it up almost newhere. i retapped my turbo to 1/8npt, made everything super easy.

They don’t usually call it 7/16" they call it -4AN

So you need a -4AN to -3AN. Works on my Nissan turbo

7/16" would be -7AN. To convert from -AN to inches you put the number over 16, and that gives you inches.

Example: My oil return is -10AN = 10/16 = 5/8"

I got one…

I got the fitting it was a 120mm by 1.25 thread (same as 7/16") to 4AN and 3 adapters later I’m at a 3AN. The fittings make the adapter about 3 inches long, bringing the oil in close to the manifold. Do you guys think that this may cause some issues if I water cool the turbo too.

i think u missed the fact that it is the threads on the turbo itself. it’s not an at all. its a 7/16-(threads per in) to -3an adaptor.

That’s what I’ve been saying, he needs a -4AN male to -3AN male fitting. Trust me guys, I jsut finished mine a couple of months ago.

there is no 7an fitting. There is only 4 and 6. It’s not 6 becuase thats 3/8, therefore it’s 4.

Like Jaylo said…you need a -4AN to -3AN fitting. You can get it at any speed shop, jegs, summit, ebay, jcwhitney, etc. Any hydralic shop, or anywhere that makes hoses would have it.

I bought a 1g oil feed line upgrade and extended the line. it had the correct banjo fitting for the tdo5h.
