stay away from pulleys, as the crank pulley deletes your harmonic balancer.
thats strange, a turbo kit that includes cam gears? interesting.

look like your talkin about that ssautochrome turbo kit with pulley and cam gear included… ive header good and bad about their manifold, cheap welding.
Echo… echo… echo… lol
I’m guessing for partial tuning features.
typR - Their manifolds are absolute crap. They don’t only crack at the welds, they crack everywhere! They just can’t handle the heat.
some guy posted a pic of his SSauto manifold, with like 25 repair welds he had to make. its redondiculous.
naw its xs power
same shit…different day
how many times can you rebadge the same crap…?
i have a 14b, cast log manh, fmic, ebay t3/dsm adaptor plate, ebay external dump o2 housing, full 2.5" turbo back, walbro 255, dsm 450cc injectors, wiseco 8.5:1 pistons, eagle rods, and ngk platinum plugs i spool around 2.6k and have full boost around 3.8k. im just tuned on the stock internal wg at 8psi, i have a mild port job on the exhaust housing and mani and a full wild port and polish on the compressor side, i love my teg, and i love making people in h22 civics and k20s have to stop and change their undies, idk what im pushin to the wheels yet because havent got the money to get on the local dyno but i want to up my boost to 14 and see what i can pull, eventualy i want a evoIII 16g and ill be happy with the setup
I would go with a Garrett t3 57 trim.
cant polish a turd… just stay away.
there are three types of mitsubishi 16g.
small 16g (34lbs)
big 16g (36lbs)
evoIII 16g (42lbs)
all three spool very fast and make good power, especially when you consider that a 20g only flows 2lbs more than the evoIII.
a t3/t4 doesnt necessarily spool slower. you could go with a 50, 57, or 60 trim, which spool from around 4000-5000rpm, probably faster, or all the way up to something from the garrett GT series, such as the GT40, or a 60-1, all of which are t3/t4 turbos. they range from fast spooling, power making turbos, all the way to monsters that dont spool until 6000 and make crazy power as long as you want it to.
if i were you i would shoot for an evoIII 16g or a 50 trim t3/t4.
ps. the 16g series are capable of 330-375hp depending on the model.
The Evo 3 16g flows 38lbs, not 42. It’s also kind of hard to make 300+ on pump gas on these turbos (mustang dyno whp), but they are fun. I rev out to 7.5k on a 2 liter and this thing doesn’t really drop off so I don’t know why you 1.8l guys would have issues, would someone care to enlighten me?
EDIT: And I’m running 18lbs on the Evo3 16g right now, soon to be 24 with methanol injection, an LS with a stock motor can safely run around 7-8 right? You shouldn’t be running out of airflow since you’re not even gonna be in the turbo’s efficiency range @7-9 psi.
ha not to distract from this thread but how will a t70 be with a ls?
:wrong post, ignore my post
