GSR trans

Are you interested in selling just the GSR trans?

sounds like a solid 3000 car all day… 6k LMFAO

Looks like this is the same car I ran across on craigslist a little while ago. Some initial impressions:

  • Pics aren’t very good quality and it’s dirty in the pics so it’s really hard to tell how clean it is. The paint could be good or it could be pretty bad.
  • There’s some light damage to the front bumper and the bumper/hood/headlights don’t line up properly. This could be cosmetic and just need some adjusting or it could be indicative of some previous damage.
  • Wheels look to have been painted and are likely being used with tapered lugs instead of ball seat (acorn)
  • Seats look faded (definitely not a 9/10 interior car if it has faded seats and doesn’t come with good condition stock floor mats)
  • Stock exhaust tips are missing (maybe more, can’t tell from the pics)
  • Looks like there might be a tiny crack in the passenger side tail light
  • Antenna is stuck open
  • Missing exhaust heat shield
  • Front emblem is broken
  • Battery was relocated to accommodate a hydro clutch adaptation
  • Engine bay is surprisingly complete, this is the first DB2 I’ve seen in a long while with the clutch cable bracket still in place
  • There are no interior pics

The body looks really straight, if the paint is still in good condition then this could be a great car despite the very high miles. There was another GSR that sold on eBay recently for $6k so I think that’s where he’s getting his pricing. That other car looked a lot cleaner than this one but it’s hard to tell without good pics.

I’ll post the link since the OP hasn’t posted any photos:
