1993 Integra Gs-R *slow build thread*

this is my slow build thread.i bought a 93 gsr integra,spun bearing so I decided to rebuild it. its staying N/A.as of right now the mod list is still in process. but here are some pics.

Put on some gloves when you work on the engine like that, all that grease on the bumper/fenders :slight_smile: So, what are the plans for the motor? OEM rebuild?

for some reason it feels wierd working with gloves on.I don’t mind getting it dirty.that;s what the carwash is for hehe. well I;m actually first looking to get another long block and drive the car and find a job and then build the original b17 engine.im getting some parts just waiting for them to be shipped.but while I;m waiting I’m starting on my wire tuck.

legendary yes. it was the first honda offered with rear disc brakes.
it was the first non-expensive honda with DOHC’s and VTEC.
in the US, it was the first car to come with a B Series.

the DB2 will never be remembered as just another integra, thats what makes it legendary.

Sad to say but you got some wrong info there yo… :read:

so my rod is bent and i need to know which rods to get since i cant find the p61 rods anywhere local.

My 90 DA had rear disk brakes.
My 90 DA had a B series engine

Never the less…GS-R = Pure Sex…GL 92 Civic HB

can someone tell me which rods to get since one of mine is bent. im using the p61 stock pistons,stock crank. i need to know which rods to get so i can put this engine together.

Sucks a rod is busted. Those rods are kinda worth more than the whole bare block.

p61 #6 in the photo. make sure and get new bolts.

if your wondering why one of the rods is up.that;s because its bent and needs to be replaced. i found a set local for 30$.going to pick it up tomorrow.

wire tuck update.not sure if i will keep the fuse box in the bay or not.
passenger side needs to be cleaned.

yeah pretty much. I guess the battery has to go in the trunk then. This is my first wire tuck with abs and I want to keep the abs so It might be a bit harder.no big deal tho I will extend some wires to make it all work.

^^ yes sir I am. no complaints,no problems at all. when I lived in a house I had my neighbor call the cops on me for just lowering my car in my driveway…and now I’m in apartments and I do all of this without one problem. I’ve done 3 clutch jobs,painting,this project,my eg hatch,my other 4 door,plus I’ve had about 3 to 4 cars just sit there without plates for a month or two,if they see a car parked where my red gsr is.they know its mine and I change cars every month lol.never a problem. lol
