y didnt u put motor & tranny in @ the same time?
I don’t have a hoist and I really don’t mind doing it piece by piece.would of been easier yes but what i did was lower the car and me,my brother and friend lifted the engine and dropped it in.
ya i did the same in my 5th gen with no hoist…i thought i was the only one who did that lol
my peugeots motor was properly removed by laying the frame as low to the ground as possible with support under the motor, you unbolt the motor and then lift the car up. the correct way to do this would be to use a lift.
my friends and i used a tree and chains attached to the frame to pull the car up off of the motor. the chain still hangs in that tree and is still used time-to-time for this kind of shit.

distributor went out…its currently getting rebuild…ah i knew it would happen.should of bought a new one while the build was in process.ah what can i do.
You have over spray everywhere. Tires, master cylinder, brake booster, windshield cowl, top of your shock, jesus. Why did you only paint half of the bay too? You’re just going to have to pull the motor again to do the rest…
Sorry this isn’t a good comment, but that shit looks super ghetto man. I know you don’t have a shop or garage to work in, but taking the time on little things like taping parts off, or COMPLETELY painting an engine bay makes all the difference in the world
I agree, how did you not mask off the tires when you painted the rims?
i did not paint the rims lol they are going to be cleaned with aircraft remover. i know i over sprayed the cowl,which i will re paint black this week.as for the brake booster i should of painted it black while the engine was out but i need the car on the road asap so i didn’t have time. and i don’t mind taking the engine out again in a few months anyway
aircraft is pretty harsh stuff…is that safe on tires?

took the transmission back out because it got stuck in fourth gear.pressure plate and clutch are fine.throw out bearing is fine. i opened the tranny to check it…will be doing that after work today…in the mean time im working on the new integra i got.
