thanks. I just moved the car to my friends backyard so i can do my swap and take my time on it,have a little bbq and some beers while im at it. clutch is coming monday. primed the tranny just have to paint it same color as block now, i got ALLLLLL new hoses for it that way i know it wont leak and plus its a bitch changing them since they in the back. also have to order a new knock sensor.

my clutch came in today… Gripforce stage 3 clutch with 9.75 flywheel. 6 puck sprung clutch

got really tired of the dirty head and block,so i painted them again. i really don’t care about the back since you cant see it. the valve cover is going to be red with matching cover.
You should clean the metal part of the injectors, they look dirty and out of place on your clean manifold. Be sure to get new injector o-rings (buy a couple extras for good measure). Also, be careful when installing all of your fuel parts, if you leak fuel it very well might strip off some of the paint on your manifold. Shouldn’t be noticeable, but just be aware.
i actually put new o rings in already because of that purpose.and got a new fuel line.
got my spark plugs and wires,intake.bought 3 oil changes.
im either going to paint the metal part on the §§§§§ or get a new one and keep this one in the trunk at all times in case,because in the past i’ve had to change 3 §§§§§'s on my b17 and twice on my b18 i guess its a common thing lol.
Doing a good job on the build! Looks nice so far. I found a db2 yesterday for sale for only $1k. But some guy got to it before I did and picked it up. :gunright:

today is double check day. its going in tomorrow so im double checking all my wiring,hoses,fuel everything. the §§§§§ looks out of place i think i might paint it too.and paint the valve cover same color,never seen it all one color before.well hopefully everything goes good tomorrow morning i will post pics of process
Yeah I’d say paint the di.z.zy for sure.
If that paint holds up to frequent washes and high temps of a b17 then that will be really sweet man.

Is there any way you could take a pic of the information stamps on the front of the head? right between the #3 and 4 exhaust ports.
just out of curiosity what do those stamps mean?
my camera is with my gf i will take pictures for you in the morning. and i guess it identifies witch head it is(most likely) and something else lol id like to know
