3" exhaust with muffler???

im about to get a 3" exhaust made soon with the piping and muffler that I had from my turbo prelude. I was wondering if anyone had any pics of there custom exhaust. I hate the fact that we dont have much room under the rear bumper which causes the mufflet to sit crooked.

I guess not

I have a custom 3 inch exhaust. Its ran under the gas tank, so it only has 1 bend in it. I only have that 1 hks muffler on the back and thats it, the rest is open. Its pretty quiet being that im turbocharged.

I had a 2.5" custom exhaust that would rattle when the car was at idle. Come to find out it would vibrate on the bottom side of the car.

When I bought my Thermal Exhaust I have no problems.

Blazin thats looks way to low. I bet it scraps pretty bad huh??? But it looks good

Actually it dosent scrape bad at all unless 4 people are in my car. I will clear most speed bumps. And this is Columbus, MS. The roads here arent that great.

im feeling that set up.

How much is your car lowered? My exhaust hangs around that height and scrapes EVERYWHERE! I’m also lowered 2.5" or so.

same here. I have a 2.5 drop as well on 18’s??

I have some coilovers and they are half way lowered. I guess I’m just careful. But I havent had any problems with mine. Also its a very good setup for a turbo in my opinion. And it sounds great too.

You can buy mine. I am selling my 3" exhaust for $350.

what kind of wheels are those MIKE, and what kind of suspension do you have?

you can get a custom 3 inch for cheaper…

meet07- not mandrel bent you can’t. Anybody can crush bend for cheap, but by doing that you have lost the effectiveness of a true 3" exhaust (even on the bends). I used 3" dyno max U bends for the bends so 3" is maintained throughout.

TurboG2teg311- I have Koni adjustables all around with Eibach springs. The wheels are 17"ALT’s

Yeah I wish I had a mandrel bend in mine. But its just one 45 degree bend so it should be ok.

I fit a 14" muffler straight out the back. 3"

All using Kteller 3" Mandrel kit. After the rear axle, it was qutie tricky, but any competitent muffler shop should be able to figure something out.

I got mandrel bend on my prelude when I was boosting it. It ran me less than 300 bucks including the DP. The only thing that cost me was the catco cat. I know a guy thats selling a brand new Thermal for 300 right now.

keep in mind that I am talking Canadian dollars here, not U.S. I paid $500 for mine when I had it done. The muffler is a Magna Flow 3".

Here is mine, custom made stainless

that looks sick, lol, on a lift.

I will have one soon, custom under-tank straight pipe with a 3’ N1 style muffler.
