400hp integra non vtec wanna push more power but dont want vtec lol

I would defianntly get a nice tubular EQ manifold with 3" DP etc. Up the boost some more or change out to a dual ball bearing turbo. a GT30R would be pretty good. Don’t bother with ignition upgrade. that stuff is bunk and not worth it at all.

i got a turbochared DA with a jdm gsr in it, i love the vtec and i make almost 300 whp on 7 lbs of boost. but for ur setup i would say that big intake manifold like a jg edelbrock and some big 1000cc injectors along with a nice equal length tubular manifold and a big throttle body, and a nice new tune, that right there should put u easily into the 500whp area. more head work is good cuase ls heads dont flow as nice as vtec heads so i’d do that. also bore out ur sleeves more for more displacement, that would def. add more power. i mean its a ls and doesnt have the flow characteristics or the high revs like a gsr so u kinda hit a wall but i think u can make 600 whp tops for this motor, its gonna take lots of money and tuning though. goodluck, if ur really interested in whp then vtec should def. be an option, i think ur more in love with the nonvtec ls motor than with ur whp cause else u would get a gsr, build it and 600 whp would come by with the things u already have. just my two cents, hope this helps and goodluck man shout me a hollar if u need any more advice.

no im not tyler i bought the car from this dude that blew it up and i rebuilt it and made it way better and i am going vtec i decided and my engine is already a 2.1 so i dont need anymore displacement

can you rasie the psi? a diff. manifold will give you more power. what ic are you running? better ic=cooler air=more power. lastly, and one of the most important thing for ls going for lots of power, p&p the head.

what’s the flow capacity of an ls vs vtec head?

you dont need vtec to hit the numbers, just the cam. vtec is just for the lower cam profile for drivability.

i would just go vtec… possibly bigger cams and try some cam tuning. msd sells a replacement distributer rather than just cap and rotor. and nx n-tercooler would definately free up some hp.
