Hey yall I did some searching around and couldn’t really find what I was looking for… Is a 50mm BOV too big for my goal of 250whp? I couldn’t find anything that said it was, I found some threads about bov’s being too small but that seems like common sense to me… What do you all think?
Only thing i can see being a “problem”, is while shifting between gears on a good pull is loosing to much boost/flow. and having your turbo to spool all that gain agian… but at 250whp i dont think ur going to be going into big boost numbers so shouldnt take long to spool up agian?.. idk… that’s all that i can see maybe being an issue. my 2 cents… if that makes sence.
Yeah you may be right, I didn’t think of that… Thanks for your reply. I think I’m going to go ahead and go with a 50mm bov and see how it works. If I lose boost between shifts or there is some other unforeseen problem I will switch it to a smaller one.
what bov are you talking about in specific?

i don’t think you’ll have any problem with the tial 50mm, i have the same one on my boosted ls which i’m sure is putting down right around those numbers, never got it on the dyno yet though
