Why sell your B18A…I have 1 92 4 door Teg with an LS Motor…B18 Non Vtec.STOCK INTERNALS…I put a DRAG kit…T3/T4 50 trim…255 InTank Walboro Fuel Pump, 450cc Injectors, Cometic Multy Layered Head Gasket, And Tuned with CROME…I am happily BOOSTING 8-9 lbs all day…Dynoed at 210 WHP with injectors working only at 71%…More power will come for me soon with some more mods…Be safe…Good luck on your set up…
hummm…good for you but my b18a is tired and everytime i rev high(5-6k) i have to put some oil in it:S so i dont wanna put the turbo on a engine that eat 2-3liter every 5000km!!! That for your list of mods and your dyno power!!! I hope to be in the 200whp:)
I run 20psi all day everyday, stock internals, non-vtec, no intercooler, water injection, 98 octane fuel known as “optimax” 450 dsms, walbro pump, jg edelbrock victor x intake manifold, vf22 sti ball bearing turbo, tial 38mm wastegate, bloks turbo manifold and tuned with…UBERDATA!!! The motor is tired as 222000km dont noe wat that is in miles. Tryed to run even more boost but i ran into surge. I got a vtec head lyin around here sum where. I’ll put that on when im bored.
20 all day is nuts, i want to see this. we done stock gsr blocks with 28 pounds but werent not running it all day, it’s tune with dfi and it still blew. so i really want to see proof of this.
I actually didnt think that engine would take 20psi. From all the performance honda books ive been reading. They all say around the 14psi-15psi mark the cylinder liners start walking or cracking. Ive havent taken it to the dyno yet and got it tuned. Just did the old read the spark plug job. Its been interesting building that car, no1 here down under turbocharges hondas. Its just nissans for these blokes. So i have to fight back with the good ole da9. The water injection works a treat. Going to design a direct port system. I’ll get sum fotos of the engine bay for u guys to have a look c.
Hmmmm…I am boosting 9 lbs daily…integra_hot…But when the Tuner guy was tunning her she was Open Wastgate…And from peeps calculating…At 5,000 rpmz she would go super lean at 270 whp…She was boosting like 18lbs…But no matter what fuel the tuner guy gave her…she would lean out at 5,000 rpmz…It was awsome to see the tuner guy at work…Computers are the shiii…The Teg would pputt-putter at time with alot of black smoke out the tail pipe…So rich it would go off the chart…Then we realized that seh was boosting way to much…After we just corrected the lil problem by removing the Manual boost Controler that was set to max boost…(by me by mistake)…So now at 9lbs. she feels great…I am going to get a good Fuel Pressure Regulator and a Digital Boost Controler so that at any given moment I can up her to say 12lbs for some more fun…Tuner guy states that I should easily get 260-275 WHP then…Can’t wait to feel that…Be safe…
