Hey i am building a 90 rs b16a and was tossing around the idea of taking parts off of a 85 mitsubishi conquest for the turbo setup. any ideas on this would it even be possible? anyone use a turbo setup from another make of car? What all would i have to change over to make the turbo work right? if i was to go the forced induction route how would the b16a know to compensate gas for the more air rushing through? any wiring involve or would it be pretty easy or even worth it??

im pretty sure the turbo from the conquest should fit. you will need a turbo exhaust mantifold for your b16,the turbine should bolt rite on. youll need to fabricate piping. as for the gas and air, get a V-AFC and tune it from their. my si when i had it was running fine. just dont get boost happy like i did  it should be fine though.
hey mugen, how much did you get your 20v 4age for?!?
If i was to go this setup and like 5-8 psi what could i expect to run for HP and 1/4 times.
its a 90 rs 4 door with b16a

you’re kidding me right? you did NOT just say a turbo from a starquest would bolt right on to a regular turbo manifold for a b16. oh my god… oh my god… some one kill me now. and since when do people bolt turbines to manifolds? that would cause some serious damage to the turbo…
p.s. kikosanchez shut up
i agree ![]()

Im not a turbo expert, so correct me. ive never seen a turbine from a conquest. but im pretty sure itll fit with some fabrication. A shop in my city does fabrcation. I seen them put a turbine from one car to another. So it should be possible.
i didnt say it wasnt possible. I said it wont just “bolt on” like you make it seem. You either have to use an adapter plate or bring it to a shop that makes manifolds and say “make one that fits my motor and this turbine HOUSING” you dont fit turbines, you fit the housings.

hey I learn new things everyday:clap:
Hey thanks for all the help. i knew i would have to fabricate piping and an exhaust manifold. but what i am still wondering am i going to have to chip it or upgrade to new injectors or anything of that sort using this turbo puching only like 5-10 psi? or will all the stock b16a stuff work ok?
Chris
chips are normally for na setups… u need and fmu chip ill give u to much ignition timing…
