whatever, why go 2inch evetully ur gunna want to upgrade might as well go big up front
b/c 2-2.25 is good to like 400 hp i believe. the bigger the pipe the more air that needs to be made to fill it, thus causing lag. for people running mild setups 2-2.25 is just fine. check out the g2ic turbo guide, it’s good stuff…
i ended up getting a 92-93 bumper. much more room. i also regret getting a 3x21x9" behemoth core. i should have gotten something small like a johnnyracecar or cca. 2" core is fine for most. imo, get the smallest possible ic to suit your needs now. when you go BIG, get a bigger ic. that “what if i do this in the future” is crap. plan your setup for now, build it and buy it for “now”.
it was sure pretty and gave bragging rights, but entirely impractical and caused a big headache.
