Do you happen to have pictures of the VIN of your 93 that is number 1605? I was certain they didn’t make more than 851 in 93 in the USA.
i just bought a car for 300 bucks, was vandalized…the guys said it was a gsr…beats me though, it didn’t have stock fenders so couldn’t check the vtec molding, it has gsr seats, no cluster, no rear wing, but the hatch doesn’t have the third brake lamp. so i’m hoping it’s a gsr…

can somebody shed some light on the car/history.
i bought it from a kid in modesto, it was severely damanged.

perhaps they were different years steve. Yours was a 93 maybe the other guys was a 92? good possibility. anyhow they are getting more rare by the minute. I wonder how many are actually left on the road?

Yes, they were different years… his was a 92 mine was a 93, but that makes the “#XXXX” pretty invalid since no one ever takes into account the year. I saw his vin, it was legit.
I have #217, it a 92’ canadian model, milano red.
I found a 92 GSR #000339 totalled at a pick-n-pull and took the engine and interior. One more to check off the list 
. The strange thing is the serial number on the engine is 1000117. Is it common for the #'s to be different?

Green, The same color as Kin’s from up higher on the page ^^
