No updates yet, very slow. We started looking at houses earlier than I expected so I went into money saving mode for the DP. I need to get the Teg into a garage, stuff I’ve already cleaned up has started to rust and is a bit depressing…feels like I’m going backwards. Look for an update in the next few weeks though, I have my birthday week off to work on her.
Also, if anyone knows someone who has a cam cap for the GSR/b16 distributor side, I’m having some trouble finding one so I can finish and seal the engine up so I can get to the point of starting it. Wtb thread

Cleaned up the harness on both sides.
This came in a day late, I’ll have to install it another day
Installed the slim fan and made a radiator bracket

It is tough. I contacted that guy about those. He wants a lot for them (highest price of the 4 sets I’ve seen on eBay) and the piece I need is scored up badly. I’m upset at myself as I saw a full set last year for $75, but in my head I thought that was a lot since I only need that one piece…little did I know haha. Live and learn. There’s a couple of bare heads on eBay for $50-$100 more than this guy’s asking.
Finally sealed up! Thanks to a Honda-tech WTB thread, got the needed piece for $15
On the remainder to get this thing started. Bid on a house with a garage to store this beast, but we lost it
Wow, time flies. I’m ashamed to say there has been nothing new done to the Teg since the last update on 2016.
To be fair, I’ve been collecting parts the past few years, but it has been disheartening to see some of the parts I’ve put on start to show corrosion.
Well, we recently purchased a house after a few years of looking. I just bought a cheap set of used wheels to replace the dry rotten steelies and get the car towed when this happened a few days later.
Second time a car port has fallen on the car. A few new dents and scratches, i’ll be honest I think the carport did more damage to the car then just leaving it out in the elements. I needed just one more week to get the car over
Called AAA for a “broken down” car and had it towed over to the house
I was able to get the Teg to fit in the garage with the daily (2018 STI) sitting on rollers to move around when needed
You may notice this in the pics above, installed just to make it look like it was potentially still a running car for the tow.

Crazy… but I too have a DA (red) that’s getting ITBs on a k24 setup… and also got a WRX same color tho yours is an STi… and we both from the north east

Quick question, how is the fitment on the ITBS with the brake booster and the reservoir? I have always been curious and there never seems to be a ton of confirmation.
