have just been waiting for the bolts to mount the wheel… love it! can’t wait till i can install the other parts. but i didn’t have the patience to wait to see this on the car
where do u guys get these spoon wheels?? I want one!! name?
u can easily buy a gen3 wheel anywhere, but it has a blue and yellow button which i don’t like. that is why i got the gen2, mine honestly took a month to get as it was shipped to me from japan.

well like a total dumbass cuz i was frustrated in the 100 degree weather today, while installing the rear wiper delete, i ended up with a rear window delete… so fucking pissed!! but i needed a new hatch anyway since i am getting a hiro rep… and the gsr hatch has the holes in the middle…
damn dude sorry to hear. but at least you were planning to replace it.
yea just not the way i wanted it to go, that was ALOT of glass to clean up
I probably would have wet myself when that shattered. That rubber plug from the firewall isn’t looking so bad to me after all!
The problem is going to be trying to find GSR glass. You can’t order glass without the brake light holes in it.
Probably going to have to find one secondhand with glass already installed.
Yup, this is the issue. Shitty to hear about the glass breaking Bryan If you’re going to paint the car (which I think you said you were) then it’d be best to get another GSR hatch and just shave the holes. As the others stated you can’t buy a new GSR rear glass and you can’t buy the rubber trim/molding around the glass either, so simply replacing the glass isn’t always a great option.
Oh, another comment… I saw you ordered one of those Skunk2 vtec solenoid caps. If you like it, then go for it, but if your purpose is simply to cover up the ugly, rusted, or tarnished stock one - there are other options! Personally I can’t stand the aftermarket caps for these, they look bulky to me and worst of all they add a company logo right there in the middle of your bay. My favorite treatment for the vtec solenoid is to clean it thoroughly and then polish the top piece. It then retains it’s original shape and size but with just a bit more of a dressed up appearance - I call it “OEM+”
A shame you’re so far. I have a GS-R hatch I’d be willing to trade for a stock one with no wing business. Geez… even the glass is rare on these things.
the skunk2 part is my cam plug… i have ran it on my old car, and also i have ran the skunk2 vtec cover before i kinda like how it looks lol
i actually wouldn’t mind a DA9 hatch so i can get a jdm third brake light since i will be losing the gsr wing very shortly…
Holy shit, I witnessed my friend ruin his hatch the exact same way. I kept telling him to wait because the glass was so hot but noooo he didn’t listen. Sucks man
lol yea. it shattered pretty easily… it sucks, but i will figure something out…
well got my carbon fiber wang today… kind of upset with the finish on the edge… and this one seems to fit like shit compared the previous 10 i made brackets for. so should be fun to see how it works out when i get a new hatch…
on to the pics
got a new hatch on, sadly its from a da9 so now i have that stupid brake light, but it will have to do, also got a jdm parking permit, and set the new big wang on… not much of an update but been busy finishing up my degree and playing with my dog lol
got the old b17 tore out today, and sold it, cleaned up the garage and enjoyed the day… need to start tucking things, but i need alot of cash for the things i want to do right now lol
and the new b17, grabbed some new bolts at the dealer today for the water pump, cleaned up the breather box and slapped it on the new engine. just waiting to find a crank pulley to start engine assembly…
