Those look nice The CF ones I had previously were not real CF so I returned them and went with ABS. The bases fit pretty bad since they were for an EF, but some quality time with a dremel and now they fit perfect. I thought you were gonna use those other mini mirrors you were refinishing.
Yes Colin I’m still going to install to mini mirrors. I just didn’t have time to work on them since I got side tracked on the wheels and other little stuff I’ve been working on.
The carbon fiber mirrors will be for sale and I am only making them fit on the da9 since they were originally made for crx. The problem I notice was that the mirror hits the black molding and a little bit on the door paint. I decide to put a spacer in between the base and the mirror to have a bette clearance once they are installed. The plastic spacer was molded to the base to make it a one piece and I have to finish sanding and paint. Then I will reassemble the mirror with the base plate and post them up for sale.
You can see the plastic I added on top
Not much of an update but here are some photos of what I was working on.
Made a copy of the optional lip kit fender cap. I haven’t finished with the small details but it is looking great.
One of my lights went out and since I had tucked the ballast and wiring what could have been a simple 5 minute job turned out to be a little more.lol
My co-worker and a friend decide to do a small photo shot of my car.

Looks like fun, your buddies need to work on the color correction though. I’m not pro at that or anything, but the slider tools in Lightroom make it pretty easy to at least try to fix the color.
Nice work on the fender cap! And nice pics!
I haven’t been here in a few weeks but here is a small update.
The ARC intake box has been replaced with a k&n short ram intake. ever since I installed the ARC box I notice the car wasn’t running as it did before. I knew that my hood was too close to the filter (only open space for air to go in). This was the only way the induction box would fit since ARC never made on for da6 chassis. I would always say that the intake setup was just a bling item on my engine bay. One day I removed the box to fully polish and drove the car without an intake. Sure enough after the first quick run around the block I notice a difference. That’s when I decide to ditch the ARC box and find another intake system. I’m looking to get a custom intake with a velocity stack, but for the mean time I picked up the K&n intake and will be making a shield box to separate the heat from going into the intake.
I also wet sand the whole car and gave it a polish and glaze. I was preparing the car for the I heart Honda meet in which spoonsports was going to be attending.
At the I heart Honda event
Took best of 90-93 integra

Since I had a flat tire the other day and no spare tire. I decide to make a whole on the rear carpet and fit a 17 inch spare wheel. This is only for test/measurements. My friend said I was crazy for cutting the new carpet I had bought. lol I like the way it looks. Just need to find me a spare 57s and paint match it to the rest of the wheels.
Congrats on best 90-93!
+1
Sending my congratulations to you too!
Alright guys & girls. I havent been here in almost a year and the car has been pretty much the same until the last couple of months. I have some a few upgrades to the front brakes and added a 10inch sub in the trunk.
Change the valve cover to a “spoon yellow” b16.
Decided to ditch the rear spared tired plan and made a cuatom fiberglass box.
Mostly everything will be cover with carpet. Only a small portion of paint will be visible.
Tried the paint letter for the tires (not worth the time doing it again. lol)
3rd DA/DB meet at Chino CA.
Front brake upgrade parts
Test fit before paint.
Calipers got painted magnesium blue
Caliper brakcets color
Almost done. Need to replace my brake hoses which i forgot to buy.
Valve cover in magnesium blue
That custom sub box came out great! And man I wish I could paint, that valve cover looks good!
Its been a whole since i have updated this thread. I few changes have been made to the car. The lsvtec has finally given out and i’m in the process of building a 13:1 compression b20vtec. Ill post photos in a few minutes once i have uploaded them to my account.
Damn, that’s some serious compression! Are you planning to run race gas or something? Seems with 13:1 you’d have to be very de-tuned in order to run safely on 91 here in CA.
The plan is to run e85 and a safe tune for 91 when i cant find an e85 station. That’s the same compression that i’m currently running on my lsvtec on 91 pump gas. Im surprised the motor lasted me this long without a tune.
Very cool to see this thread and to be able to go through it in a consolidated timeline!
Of course I’ve seen pictures on FB over the recent years, but i don’t remember this post…
Fantastic work!
That brace setup is legit. i made something similar out of a bunch of ebay c pillar bars and it added so much stiffness. doesn’t look nearly as clean as yours tho
